Over the past three years, I have gained social media experience working with independent businesses and content creators. My focus has been to help them maintain consistency, increase engagement, and create tailored content that aligns with their brand. I have also interned at a communications company, Splendid Communications. This gave me the chance to work various national and international level companies such as Travelodge, Big Yellow Self Storage and Ginsters.
As a PR and Social Media Intern at Splendid Communications, I played an integral role in conceptualising and creating content for various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) for clients such as Travelodge, Big Yellow Self Storage and Ginsters.
Responsibilities:
As a TikTok manager and content creator for a local independent business, Fossil & Bloom, my goal is to consistently create and schedule content on a weekly basis to revitalise the account, increase followers and engagement while staying up-to-date with trends.

Promoting Local Art Events:
For a university project, I focused on highlighting local art communities and upcoming exhibitions in the Midlands that are often overlooked. I used Adobe Photoshop and Canva to create the graphics/slides and the mock-up for the Instagram page. I also utilised Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the TikTok video.
Global Eye Magazine:
For the Annual student magazine, Global Eye, I rain the main social media pages as a way to advertise the upcoming issue release. I also designed the main logo, created social media images and graphics, and wrote the captions.
Fossil and Bloom Promotional Video and Interview with the owner:
Produced a promotional video for a local independent business, which was shared across all their social media pages (Instagram & Facebook), attracting new clients organically.
Managed various social media accounts for an Independent Illustrator. Conducted research to identify social media trends and best practices using SEO tools (Hootsuite) to track engagement and bring in new followers.
Changes made and implemented:
The reels were previously unedited and longer with inconsistent uploads between regular posts, which didn't fit the site's algorithm and resulted in less engagement by new and existing followers.
Changed the editing style on reels by making them shorter, adding effects, and researching various trends across platforms to suit each one, increasing engagement by 200%.
For another client, I also wrote and personalised profile descriptions and pinned tweets according to their style across different platforms to keep a consistent tone. I created the graphics, helped schedule content bi-weekly, moderated chats during live streams and helped achieve Twitch Affiliation.
