A Hundred Little White Lies

An interview with Co-editor of Little White Lies magazine, David Jenkins.

Nearly 2 decades and 100 issues in, Little White Lies celebrates with a free exhibition and live podcast event at this year’s BFI London Film Festival. With its unique blend of artful design and in-depth film analysis, this anniversary edition commemorates the legacy of innovative film journalism and visual appeal.

In an interview with Co-editor David Jenkins, he addresses how each issue is meticulously crafted and curated stating "The cover film is the kind of North Star when it comes to actually deciding what the magazine looks like and says.” Jenkins elaborates. “We're really interested in the craft of cinema…how films are made, what lengths that filmmakers and people involved in the world of film go to achieve the results.”

As it hits this remarkable milestone, it continues to inspire and provoke discussions about the magic of the silver screen, going beyond film reviews to become a storytelling platform.
